The Moog Center for Deaf Education presents "Helping Your Child Learn to Talk" A Workshop for Parents of Children who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing, ages 2 to 6



Wednesday, July 6, 2005, beginning at 6:00 p.m., through Sunday, July 10, 2005, ending at 1:00 p.m.

Parents are encouraged to bring their deaf or hard of hearing child to the workshop. The children will be divided into small groups based on their age and language abilities. There will be a 1:1 ratio for the younger children and a 2:1 ratio for the 5 and 6 year olds. The children will be in a small group setting with a lead teacher experienced in working with hearing impaired children and will receive individual therapy daily by staff members of the Moog Center.

Evaluations are available to children over 3 for an additional fee.

For overnight accommodations, the Residence Inn by Marriott in Chesterfield, MO has rooms available at a special rate of $99 a night. A complimentary breakfast is included. Reservations must be made by June 15. Call 636-537-1444 and tell them you are with the Moog Center for Deaf Education.
Transportation from the hotel to the Moog Center is also available.
