Reunion Study, Hearing Impaired Children Learn to Talk WELL! by Jean Moog
Parents are encouraged to bring their deaf or hard of hearing child to the
workshop. The children will be divided into small groups based on their
age and language abilities. There will be a 1:1 ratio for the younger
children and a 2:1 ratio for the 5 and 6 year olds. The children will be
in a small group setting with a lead teacher experienced in working with
hearing impaired children and will receive individual therapy daily by
staff members of the Moog Center.
Evaluations are available to children over 3 for an additional fee.
Appointments for evaluations must be made in advance by calling
314.692.7172.
For overnight accommodations, the Residence Inn by Marriott in Chesterfield, MO has rooms
available at a special rate of $99 a night. A complimentary breakfast is included. Reservations
must be made by June 15. Call 636-537-1444 and tell them you are with the
Moog Center for Deaf Education.
Transportation from the hotel to the Moog Center is also available.
Enrollment is limited so that there will be plenty of opportunity for
interaction and hands-on experiences. To register for this workshop, send
a check for $150 made payable to The Moog Center for Deaf Education to:
