My Baby and Me - A Book about Teaching Your Child to Talk by Betsy Moog Brooks $42.45 (includes shipping) - My Baby and Me has been written for parents of young deaf and hard of hearing children and for professionals helping these parents. Developed with the comments and guidance of many parents of children with hearing loss, it offers strategies and techniques for helping children develop spoken language skills, ideas and suggestions for language learning activities, as well as answers to questions about hearing and hearing loss. It also provides parents with spaces for taking notes and a variety of invaluable resources.

My Baby and Me is organized in a convenient binder format, which gives parents places to collect and store medical information, as well as reports and other information about their child.

The book can also be personalized throughout for a particular child. Professionals who use My Baby and Me as a part of their Parent-Infant curriculum may choose to use a generic version. (For example, wherever the child's name appears, the generic book would read "your child.") The professional may then purchase individualized binders for each family with whom they work. The intent is to make parents an integral part of the teaching process and that's why each parent book is personalized throughout with their child's name.
